In not-so-great news, the company Chris worked for has dissolved. But we're remaining positive and look forward to bigger and better things. As you can see, we are very blessed with two, healthy children, a wonderful family and gracious friends. Life is good... :)

Tappin' my sparkle-shod feet!

Thankfully I have a daddy with two, strong arms good for hugging!

A new manicure to match my shirt.

Proud big sister

Cozy Snuggie and a chocolate milk cocktail-- this is the life, dah-ling!

Tummy time

Turtles are slow and also kind of mean lookin'.

Nothin' cuter than tiny toes!

Cozy blankie + bouncy chair = milk-induced coma

Wheeeeee!

Anxiously awaiting for the chick to hatch from this egg timer.

This joint was jumpin' at my pal Alyssa's house!

Serious artists. No, more like, Artistes. Yeah, we're that good!

Waving to my loyal subjects.

You're in the presence of a princess.

Drawing my daddy. (Note the goatee and glasses.)
We went to the Elgin Pumpkin Festival where we got the chance to go on a tractor-drawn hayride, pick out some farm grown pumpkins and dance at a bona-fide hoe-down. In case you're wondering, we are slowly perfecting our southern drawls. It was bound to happen.

Faster, cowboy!

Just now realizing I forgot my cowgirl boots. Dang!

Family fun amidst the pumpkins.

A car-shaped swing-- sweeet!

On a hayride that, curiously, did not involve hay.

Like turtles, antique tractors are slow. So slow, in fact, they don't move at all.

Bracing myself for a "train" ride driven by a disgruntled-looking teenager sporting a mohawk. Mom and dad will do anything for a photo-op. Sigh.

The mean farmer dude who led our hayride.

My second horse-ride. Still no cowgirl boots. Double-dang.

I'm the pumpkin in the green shirt.
Yesterday we went to a birthday party. Izzy's pal, Henry turned the big 0-2!

The birthday boy, Henry.

Being older and more experienced in birthdays, I oversaw the whole present-opening procedure.

Bubble-blowing at the party :)
