Where did the last two months go? Time flies when you're having fun, as they say, and these last few months have been busy. We've been getting to know Nicolas and settling into more of a schedule. Sometimes, if we're lucky, he'll sleep longer stretches throughout the night. He's starting to smile and giggle which is, of course, adorable and all he has to do is flash his gummy smile and all those diaper blow-outs, spit up explosions and late, late nights are immediately forgiven. Now that he's getting more 'interactive," Izzy is starting to acknowledge Nico more. I guess she figures this little guy is not going anywhere so she better make friends. She's a great sister and a big help to me, fetching blankets, my water and anything I need when I'm tending to baby. She's getting so big and soon she'll be turning three. Sigh. Time flies when you're having fun, indeed.

Such a serious expression for such a little guy.

Swinging with daddy! Weeeee!

A happy camper :)

Okay, Nico, here's the plan... first I'm going to catapult you over to the couch where you'll ricochet over the cabinet to where I'm certain mom is stashing some cookies. No, no, I'm sure it's perfectly safe. Besides, aren't babies supposed to bounce?
