We enjoyed a lovely Easter and Izzy got to be in two Easter egg hunts this year, one in our community and the other at her grandparents' house. She also got to see her old friend, the Easter Bunny, who she adores!

Hugs from Nana

Hey, Easter Bunny! Remember me? I'm your biggest fan! We have a lot to catch up on...
High five for the big bunny!

Waiting for the hunt to start with mommy.
Well, heck, these eggs aren't hidden very well! They're right here in the open!
Thanks, mommy! You're a good assistant egg hunter!
Nana helping me open one of the eggs I found. I hope it contains something chocolatey!
Crayons? Well, it's not chocolate but I do really like to draw and color so I guess these will do.
Stickers and prize tickets! Score!
Big hugs from Mr. B
We have moved every year since 2005 so, in keeping with this pattern, we're getting ready for our annual move to a new house. We're really excited about this particular move for several reasons: no more apartment! No more stairs! Two car garage! Backyard! Five minutes away from family! The list goes on... yippee!!!
Precious cargo here, mom, so make sure you use lots of bubble wrap and write "Fragile" on the outside of the box. Thanks.
The Saturday before Easter, we went to Kiddie Acres, a family run Austin "amusement park." It's very small, there are only, like, 7 rides but it was a nice outing and Izzy had a great time. The park is set amongst the blossoming blue bonnets and wild flowers about five minutes from where we currently live in North West Austin. It's been in operation for over 30 years and they haven't really updated the rides in that time but the kids just love it so they must be doing something right! (Note the pink headband Izzy is wearing a la eighties Olivia Newton John. She insisted on wearing it all day! She calls it her "exercise." Too cute!)
