Happy Halloween!

Our first fall here in Austin, we've been busy with lots of Autumnal activities: pumpkin picking, Halloween partying and enjoying the crisp, cool air.

Hmm, so many choices...

Choosing the perfect pumpkin is a very scientific process.


First, you gotta find one that looks good--you wanna pumpkin that's orange but not too orange; big, but not too big--take a Goldilocks approach--find one that's just right! And no weird protrusions unless you will be incorporating that in your decoration somehow.



You gotta take it for a test drive.


You gotta look at it from all angles.


Lastly, does it interview well? You don't want to end up with a slacker pumpkin who is going to mold after two days!
