Izzy is 23 months today--almost an official two-year-old! Some of her new words and phrases are: "Please", "Thank you", "Bless you" (after we sneeze), "Kissy" (when she wants a kiss) "Circle" (to describe rocks she finds and other circular objects), "Uppio" (when she wants to be picked up), "Off" (when requesting socks or shoes to be taken off), "Aww, man!", "Woo hoo!", "Bonk" (when she falls down or one of her toys falls over), "Are you okay?" (after she falls down or inquiring after the safety of her toy), "Shakey" (eggs--long story)---there's lots more as she is becoming a very verbose child!

Enjoying dinner at one of our favorite sushi places. I'm perfecting my chopstick technique while mom zones out over her miso soup.

Fall is in the air! We're happy the hot weather has eased up and has allowed us to enjoy the outside world for a change! Izzy continues to grow and surprise us with the new things she learns each day.

Updating the blog for my many fans.

Wow! It's actually chilly outside!

My new favorite pastime--coloring! (For some reason Izzy calls her crayons "people." We have no idea why as we always refer to them as crayons but whenever she wants to color she asks for "people." Huh.)

Mastering the art of using utensils. Getting pretty good at it, I must say!

Mommy, can I keep him?

Color time with daddy.

Walking around like I own the place.

Sharing my milk with Big Bird.

Reunited with my old pal, Red Balloon!

I'll grow into them...
