This blog post is brought to you by Pampers, Mary Tyler Moore, and the word "awesome."

Rocker chic

Posin' with Pampers

Pampers don't wear me! I wear the Pampers!

Who can turn the world on with her smile?
Who can take a nothing day, and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile?

Well, it's you girl, and you should know it
With each glance and every little movement you show it

Love is all around, no need to waste it
You can have a town, why don't you take it
You're gonna make it after all!

Peek-a-boo!

A rare photograph of the Dining Room Ghost

After a long, arduous trek thru the desert, Izzy of Arabia stopped for a refreshing drink from her sippy cup, um, I mean her canteen.

Awesome Adirondak

How could you resist this face? Really, I'm asking because so far she runs the show!

Awesome ends with "me"

I bet you all thought I forgot that yesterday was Izzy's 14th month birthday! Well, um, I did actually forget. Silly me! I suppose I was just so wrapped up with my own birthday last Wednesday which is actually the main subject of today's post. Izzy let me borrow her blog just for today. Thanks, Iz!

Blowing out my birthday candles. Chris put them on the cake, all eighteen of them, bless his heart.

The lovely cake Chris made for me (though I kind of suspect he had some help...?)

The gorgeous roses that coordinated with the icing on the cake.

Izzy helping me blow out the candle on my surprise slice of cheesecake at my birthday brunch. Actually, Izzy probably thought it was for her since it had only one candle! No wonder she was mad at me when I scarfed it all down!

Superbaby!

Happy New Year! Hope you all enjoyed the holidays! We had a wonderful time visiting family and friends. Izzy experienced her second Christmas and was more aware of her many presents. Well, actually, the opening of her many presents, anyway. Turns out, wrapping paper is highly entertaining to a one year old!

Starting the new year off right with some reorganization. Let's begin with mommy's purse.
