Happy Thanksgiving, Y'all!

Welcome to our special Thanksgiving edition blog post. Hope you all had a lovely holiday complete with yummy food, parades, and plenty of leftovers to last thru the weekend!

Modeling my extra special birthday pajamas my Aunt Lisa got for me. They're super cozy!

Playing with the magnet letters at Amy's Ice Cream shop.

Mom! No pictures now, please! I'm eating Thanksgiving dinner!

Good one, dad!

Proof that vegetarians still manage to eat well on Thanksgiving!

The infamous Tofurkey roast complete with vegan gravy. Yum! I bet all you meat eaters out there are wishing you were vegetarian right about now, huh? I knew it!

Mommy and I sharing a giggle.

We're thankful for hugs!

Daddy tried and tried to get me off my pony to get ready for bed but I held on tight! The pony goes where I go!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We have so much to to be thankful for and count our blessings everyday! Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Izzy's Pony

Izzy's big birthday present this year was a pony. At first she was more interested in her Elmo doll but now she has to have "Horsey" with her all the time and drags it around the house and even tries to sneak it out the front door if we're going out. If you press one of the pony's ears, it plays horsey sounds and the other ear plays a tune: "I'm a little pony--Clippity-Clop, Clippity-Clop! Such a pretty pony--Clippity-Clop, Clippity-Clop!..." We all know the song by heart now.

Izzy's 2nd Birthday Celebration

Yay! Today is Izzy's 2nd birthday!!! Can you believe she's already two? My goodness, where does the time go? Since her birthday landed on a Tuesday this year, we decided to celebrate it over the weekend. Saturday we went to the San Antonio Zoo and Sunday Izzy opened her presents and had birthday cake.

Excited to explore the zoo with daddy.

Playing with the critters at the Zoo Tot Spot.

So you're telling me there are life-size versions of these animals in the zoo? That's just crazy talk!

Just turned two and already part of the workforce. Thank goodness the zoo was in need of mini-zookeepers!

Tending to my animals.

Yay for broccoli! This picture was taken before diving into my birthday cake!

Someone's in the kitchen with Izzy... Someone's in the kitchen I know-oh-oh...

Shopkeeper Izzy

Fishing with Daddy. Grandpa Z. would be so proud!

Checking out the creepy crawlies.

Into the prairie dog tunnel...

Mommy's in there too! Hi Mommy!

Leaving the prairie dog tunnel. Phew... it was a little claustrophobic in there! Hope Mommy makes it out okay!

Taking my block of cheese for a ride in my boat.

That is the weirdest cat I've ever seen! Oh wait... it's a "coati?" Okay, that makes sense!

Wow, a sloth hammock! Wonder if there is a viable market for these babies?

Celebrity sighting! That's the tortoise from the Never-ending Story! Pretty sure! Can I have your autograph?

Opening presents from Grandma and Grandpa Z.

Ooh, a present from Aunt Lisa and Uncle Josh!

Okay, Grandma and Grandpa Z., Nana and Grandpapi, here I come! I can't wait until Christmas so I'm packing myself up in this box and sending it via express mail! See you in 7-10 business days!

Hey, mom, can you toss in some goldfish crackers, Cheerios and milk in case I get hungry on my trip? Thanks!

Mandarin oranges for my birthday lunch at Elevation Burger. Yummy!

I begged for a car for my birthday and was really surprised when I actually got one! And even more surprised when it came with Garfield!

Modeling my kitty cat back-pack from Grandma and Grandpa Z.

Yee-haw! I got a pony for my birthday! Thanks, mom and dad!

More birthday cake, please! This time with more frosting!

Taking care of my pony and feeding him Cheerios.
